Your First Visit

Your first visit is your opportunity to get to know our practice, see our facility, and meet our office team. During your initial appointment, we'll greet you warmly, introduce you to available team members, and answer any questions you may have. We'll discuss your dental concerns, collect the relevant health history and background information, and perform a clinical exam to establish a baseline for care. Whether you have a little one welcoming those first few erupting teeth or you are looking to restore your smile, we are excited to welcome your family to our practice.

Our Mission

We're dedicated to helping our patients maintain optimal oral health and achieve their cosmetic smile goals. We tailor each treatment plan to address individual needs and fulfill expectations of care. You can count on every member of our friendly and experienced office team to pay close attention to your comfort and address your needs with kindness, patience, and compassion. From basic preventive exams and cleanings to cosmetic care and TMJ dysfunction therapies, we provide top-of-the-line treatments in complete comfort. We treat your family like our own and will never make you feel rushed. We're also happy to offer a block of appointments to treat your whole family on the same day for maximum convenience.

Patient Forms

Before your first appointment, we encourage you to complete your new patient forms in advance. Many patients find it more convenient to prepare these documents at home rather than in our office. You can also fill them in at our dental office, but please allow at least fifteen extra minutes. Either way, remember to bring your insurance card and an ID with you to your first appointment.

What to Expect

Whether your first appointment is for a dental checkup, a consultation, second opinion, or emergency care, we do all we can to make your visit a welcoming, informative, and productive experience. When you arrive, you will immediately feel at home in our warm, relaxing atmosphere filled with local artwork celebrating sailing, boating, and fishing. Once we gather the relevant background information, examine your smile, and capture any necessary digital X-rays, we'll discuss whether treatment is needed and explain your best options in care. When time allows, we're often able to complete your initial cleaning during this same first visit for added convenience.

Our Office Policy

Quality dentistry is one of the most rewarding investments you can make in your everyday comfort and long-term well-being—few things give back as much as a healthy, confident smile and the ability to enjoy the foods you love for a lifetime. Because every patient and every situation is different, we build your care around your individual needs and goals rather than a one-size-fits-all approach. The initial examination is the cornerstone of that process: it allows us to fully understand your concerns and gather the information we need to plan thoughtfully. Our role is to listen, to educate, and to guide you through your decisions with patience and compassion, making sure your options for both treatment and payment are clear so you can move forward with confidence.

Dental Insurance

We know dental insurance plays an important part in making care affordable, so we're glad to process and file claims with your provider on your behalf. With years of experience across a wide range of plans, we're happy to help you review your policy, explain anything that seems unclear, and provide an estimate of any out-of-pocket costs before you begin treatment.

Please keep in mind that filing your claim does not remove your financial responsibility for care. We ask that your co-payment—the portion not covered by your plan—be paid at the time treatment begins, and we're unable to guarantee the outcome of any insurance transaction. Ultimately, your coverage is a contract between you, your employer, and your insurance company.

Payment Methods & Financing

For your convenience, we accept cash, checks, and most major credit cards. If you don't have insurance, we're pleased to offer a discount on your care. If you have any questions about your options, just reach out and we'll be glad to walk through them with you.

We also offer flexible financing through Cherry and CareCredit, which lets you cover the cost of your care over time in a way that fits your budget.
